TRAILS - Pastors' Corner
  Katie's Column
Easter is over and April is here. We have entered into the Great Fifty Days of Easter. It is a wonderful time of new growth.

In Easter worship we were blessed by beautiful music -- some offered by the choir, some by Young In, and some we all helped to create. We welcomed Dave Jackson officially into membership. And, children of all ages hunted Easter Eggs. It was a fitting open to the Easter season.

I am particularly excited about April because my mother and one of her best friends are coming to visit for a couple of weeks. While my mother has visited before, this will be the first trip to Washington state for her friend. We plan on trekking up to Victoria as well as taking in the local sights. If SPRC and I can work out a schedule, I may be taking a little time off to spend with my guests. That would be wonderful!

It is my hope that all of you are as excited about the future as I am. Life in general is an unpredictable, crazy journey. And, Woodland Park, in particular, is a vibrant community of faith. If the beginning of Easter is any indication, we have a remarkable season ahead of us to accompany the amazing Spring we have begun.

Shalom
Pastor Katie
