Blue Christmas – A Service of Hope

SHARE Breakfast
You are welcome to join our church family as we prepare and serve breakfast for the overnight guests who stay in our church. This once a month event gives everyone a chance to get to know one another and share a meal in Christian friendship.

The day begins at 6:30 am with the preparation of the meal. One of our church members has planned the menu and gathered the food, so only cooking help is needed. At about 7:30 the men who stay in our church begin to arrive for breakfast. While serving food the men is a first step, the most important time is spent sitting with them and sharing a hearty breakfast.

One of the special times of the year for both our overnight guest and our church family is Christmas morning. Practical gifts are given to each of the men and Christmas breakfast is served.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know a few of the over 7,000 homeless people who live in Seattle.
