The goals of the Justice Ministry Team are:
- To coordinate this congregations participation in the processes wherein Mark William's assignment to WPUMC is determined and the United Methodist Church's position on gay men and lesbians in the pulpit is shaped.
- To support Mark Williams as he faces the extra demands that go along with being our Minister while he prepares for and participates in the Judicial Council process.
- To support this congregation by providing a context for learning and dialog - recognizing that we don't all have the same perspectives and opinions, but that we all have a stake in determining the direction of our church and supporting each other in Christian love.
